Our Mission
Mi Daakye removes barriers that keep children from fully participating in learning by providing the tools, support, and opportunities needed to succeed.
Guided by the Akan proverb Obi nnim a, obi kyerɛ — “What you don’t know, someone can teach you” — we help students believe that their future is not limited by their circumstances.
Our Approach
We identify the barriers that prevent children from fully engaging in school and respond with solutions that meet real needs.
Sometimes that means providing sneakers and school supplies, expanding access to technology, or creating space for social-emotional growth. Whatever the need, our goal remains the same: to help children stay engaged in learning and to encourage them to see new possibilities for their future.
We work primarily through schools and community-based programs because consistent support produces lasting impact.

Our Mission
Our curriculum appeals to student diversity and interest, and is rigorous and challenging. We understand each child comes to us with different talents, learning styles, and identities. And we celebrate that difference because our diversity is our strength.
